what a day at the office does to me sometimes.------------------------------------
parking lot this morningtoday was a trip to wyoming for some in-area turns. snowy range resort. 1.5 hours from ft. collins and $15 lift ticket special. not many runs open but thats ok. i never had to wait more than a minute for a chair, and it snowed all day ~4". not optimum conditions but i felt i made some headway on my turn. progress is always rewarding and fun.
all told i did about 20 lift-served-laps-of-goodness from the top so that put me at about .75 cents a run and i'd bet over 20k in vertical for the day. had the quad-burn going real good towards the end. oh purdy good.

storm coming in tonight - bodes well for tomorrow. and right now the wind is blowing up slope. this is my 2nd and last beer as i'm in recovery mode for tomorrow. heading up to cp for some backcountry with a few fellow freeheelers (healers?). could be a big-bucks-no-whammies-kinda day. betcha it is. i'll post some proof tomorrow.

Dang skiing is fun. In some ways I found it to be more fun than cycling.
I haven't done it since I was 17. Almost 20 years ago. That isn't right.
