days 17 and 18

saturday's outing was a long slog into the seven utes complex. weather was s'posed to be harsh; avy danger was down a notch (still a tad sketchy though); and a lot of snow had been blown around by high winds over the week - making the goods elusive. so we decided to do some low angle below treeline stuff. but we did get up to almost 12,000 feet at one point. an exploratory shot, if you will. oh, and yes, we found the goods.

as is becoming the norm, Dean did an excellent job of catching the action.

sunday i went up for a solo tour. meadows trail. i was the first one out of the lot, so that meant first tracks all day. up to zimmerman lake with a two laps thrown in for good measure. light wind, beautiful blue bird sky. just another crappy day in colorado i guess. back down to the lot and all told it was a 3 hour tour.

on thursday i'm heading out to slc for some wasatch bc action with dr. h. i'm always excited to ski new places and the wasatch is legendary. woot woot!

That looks sweet. I've been doing a fair amount of xc skiing but that tops what I've been doing. Sweet.

It bugged me that it said "1 contributions" since 1 is singular so I added another to make it plural. Huh?
