yup. its been awhile. here are the highs and lows of what i've been up to:
fc50 was a bust. i dnf'd it. mainly because i was bored. so it was more of a mental breakdown than a physical one. a breakdowns is a breakdown is a breakdown. no excuses, except that is sounded like more fun to quit the race at halfway so i could hang with butch and drink a beer. so that is what i did.
the enduro was fun. finished that one. two minutes slower than 2 years ago (the last time i did the race). that is with a flat thrown in there so in actual ride time i am sure i was faster - and that makes me feel good. no podium though - this race got popular all of a sudden and a bunch of fast guys show up now. its part of this series so it is getting more attention. good to see the event grow i guess.
going to crested butte tomorrow and not coming back for a week. it'll be good to see some folks from lincoln.

around these parts of been getting to ride with non other sir tony wilhelm, and that my friends is a real treat. super stoked to have some lincolnites relocate to my neck of the woods. especially since they are of the non-sketchy variety, unlike most of the people i know back there. KIDDING!!!
---------------------------------
work has been all about this the last few weeks. more here.
i actually don't like the media all that much. they never quite get it right. oh well. maybe i should work on my messaging ... or something.

re: media, yeah, I know what you mean... you have this interview and then you read the published thing and you say, "that's not exactly what I meant..."
:)
Oh well, sounds like money well spent to me. I hope residents take advantage of it.
Very cool. I wish I lived in Lincoln so we could hang and do some old rides. What a great town . . .
