day six i went back up to snowy range for another mega-vert day. all told, 20 runs at a thousand each for a total of 20,000 feet on the day. lift tickets were 25 bucks, snow was better, and the drive didn't suck.
day seven was a xc ski through wilderness park in lincoln nebraska. old cheney parking lot to 14th street (hiker side). back on the bike side. you guys shouldn't ride your bikes in the ski track. especially if your gonna bag it when you finally figure out the snow is still too deep. naughties. by that point the damage is done.

caught up with my old buddy ep on sunday night. then to o'rourkes to see some old familiar faces (ben is still shooting pool and drinking pitchers in spite of his diabetes ...) then to bricktop where i made the acquaintence of some new found friends and saw some old ones. sorry i didn't make it to d-street for the after hours (i really meant to) but i forgot the address and after wandering up and down the block i got cold and went home. i also fell on the ice once. then an old man laughed at me so i kicked him in the teeth and slinked away. maybe next time.
the drive home from nebraska sucked by the way. one of these winyer trips I-80 will be the death of me.
