saturday up and out at 6 a.m. with dwight h. montgomery pass to avoid the avy's and do some low angle meadow skipping. snow was choppy and variable, but we had a good time on some lower shots in the trees where things are filling in quite nicely. up at 5 again on sunday. waffles, coffee, and a short drive out to ted's place for the rendezvous with tim and dean. montgomery pass again, as the avy danger went up a notch with the new snow. that and we are all still a little spooked about last weekends accident. at any rate it was a great day. dean snapped some pics. here's a sample.
