so its been a couple weeks, not much going on really so not much at all to share. but in the spirit of good relations, i offer the following:
trip to lincoln a couple weeks ago was fun. epic ride with mw on the fixies. pretty sure we found a hundred somewhere in there. yup. driving back was a drag. i'm getting to really be apprehensive about those quick trips to nebraska. gas prices suck, especially in a toyota tacoma. i do love my truck though. and my gb's and family. so i'll suck it up and keep making those occasional trips.
kb homes finally broke down and gave me $150,000 for a bike trail so that they could get a hearing for their new mcmansion project. we started arguing about it back in november, and (heheh) in the end i won. it doesn't matter to me how long it takes either, i've got all the time in the world and my stock isn't dropping (unlike kb's) i think i can get it built for less than that, but there is always something that comes up with these types of projects that eats into the contingency. yeah well.
fc50 was kind of a bust for me this year. i was ~15 minutes slower than last year (5hours 2 minutes this year) and slipped down 5 spots to 9th in the singlespeed class. more peeps showing up for ss, which is a good thing i s'pose. i kind of took it back a notch on the second lap and just enjoyed the spectacle of the high country. it was a beautiful day and i just couldn't get myself to suffer all that much.
two solid rainy road rides (thats an "r-cubed" for all of you lay-persons) in this weekend. out on the flats east of the fort both days. 4 hours on sat.; 3 yesterday. if it was WARM and RAINY and not COLD and RAINY i would've stayed out longer yesterday. but COLD and RAINY sucks. it sucks i say.

shoulda woulda coulda... mw was kicking it at Hall Sat and L-ville Sunday. He seemed pretty happy with my and DChases local rides.
Breck this weekend, ? next before Laramie. Camping? Laramie? maybe this year?
breck is good right now (at least it was on the fourth). i'm sticking close to home the next couple weekends before laramie.
